SIMPLY TOLD TECHNICAL SERVICES

EDUCATION

WORKSHOPS

Simply Told can offer tailored workshops and courses for schools, college, universities and community organisations.

Our tutors are experienced teachers with years of experience delivering workshops in an educational environment. We run several types of workshops including practical, hands-on taster days, theory-based courses, creative writing/devising workshops, or we can tailor our workshops to focus on a particular aspect of the production process.

All our staff are CRB checked, fully qualified and highly experienced educators to ensure a safe, professional service.

MENTORING

We can also offer mentoring for young artists and companies as well as for people who want to change careers and are looking for support and advice to do so. We believe it is never too late to begin a career in the arts and we want to support people of all ages, from all walks of life and from any professional background to achieve their creative dreams.

YOUTH AND COMMUNITY TECHNICAL THEATRE COURSES

Simply Told is currently developing a techincal theatre course for young people and community groups. We feel that whilst there are opportunites for people to get involved in the creative aspects of theatre, there is little opportunity to experience the technical side. Technical theatre can offer great opportunities for young people and their future development, career opportunity as well as engendering a sense of greater responsibility in young people. We will be developing this programme throughout 2011 and would love to here what you think.
